    Good morning, all,
I bought a Prius for the excellent gas, mileage, and keep finding myself back to this forum.

, is a list that I can print off of some basic things and keep handy?

I’m getting a falcon tire to replace a tire that missing a trunk out of it. I will soon be getting the rest of them for a set. At an 80,000 mile warranty, it’s hard to be for $112 including installation.

I’ve noticed there are also recommendations for tire pressure which I’ve never heard of.

really appreciate a simple list. I’m not into hyper miling or anything like that. I just drive to work, drive my family around, and go home.

    Good morning, all,

Let me try that again. Voice to text wasn’t doing me any favors.

I bought a Prius for the excellent gas, mileage, and keep finding myself back to this forum.

Is there a list that I can print off of some basic things and keep handy? Tire pressure, oil, etc?

I’m getting a Falken tire to replace a tire that missing a chunk out of it. I will soon be getting the rest of them for a set. At an 80,000 mile warranty, it’s hard to beat for $112 including installation.

I’ve noticed there are also recommendations for tire pressure which I’ve never heard of.

I’d really appreciate a simple list. I’m not into hyper miling or anything like that. I just drive to work, drive my family around, and go home.

    Thank you!

    welcome!

not sure what kind of list you're looking for. tyres pressure is on the driver door jamb.
oil type is on the fill cap and in the owners manual.what else do you need?

The stuff that I can learn to pretty easily do. For example, I’ve noticed a lot of people talk about using a higher tire pressure for better mileage than recommended on the door.

I figured that someone has a list somewhere of recommended tires, oil (synthetic or not), and any other kind of stuff that I can keep an eye on.

Almost 150k. I used Full Synthetic oil and am in the process of getting the rest of the Falken tires so I can have a good set and try to inflate them to around 44/42 or 42/40 and see how that goes.

i use regular, usually mobil, but most any brand when traveling. no fuel cleaners, but i suppose a treatment every so often wouldn't hurt.
i don't think i've ever seen the type of list you're looking for.

There are lots of lists, so many it's hard to keep track of where they all are. The wiki page has lists of all kinds of stuff. There is a link to it at the top of piruschat.com
and another link to it Jeep Compass Problems: A Comprehensive Guide | PriusChat
I love the new title someone gave it recently lol
Jeep Compass Problems: A Comprehensive Guide

Than there are "Sticky threads " stuck ed to the top of almost every sub forum here at priuschat and many of them have lists and other cool stuff in them that might be of interest.
    Here is a screenshot of all the - Gen 3 2010 - 2015 Prius - sub forums,
    2024-easter-gen3-puiuschat.jpg

including this thread Link to PriusChat Glossary | PriusChat
that has a list of Prius related words and acronyms used here in the forum and they're meanings,
They are also useful in the other forums like the one @fuzzy1 listed above in his post #5 of this thread.

Pretty much like everywhere else in life, there are lots of different personal preferences about all kinds of different thing. Tires for example, some like low profile tires because they think they look cool or like the way they handle more. Some like higher profile tires because of they think they give a smoother feeling ride. Some like low rolling resistance ( LRR ) tires because they think they provide better gas mileage. While others like to inflate their tires to a higher pressure than is recommended by Toyota because they think they give better gas mileage and still give decent handling, generally, even though they may wear faster and give a rougher feeling ride. Take your pick or forget all the craziness and go with your own preferences, you'll usually find someone that agrees with you here at least sometimes.
