Toyota has you covered - all models come with Automatic Climate Control - you will never have to fool with climate control again - just set it to 72 degrees and never touch it again!

I actually like the big-display touchscreen climate controls on my 2021 Prius Prime Limited a lot. They are extremely convenient and easy to operate. I don't understand Consumer Reports and some others demanding physical buttons for climate control. They are simply unnecessary and cause a lot of clutter and are harder to use.

I often change temperature for different passengers. I'm sure this is easy as are the defrost in the Toyota, and you can set it before you start driving. We need some physical buttons but a screen is much easier for many things, and too many buttons and stalks always can confuse sspesitally if you are changing cars.

Sorry, but once upon a time, the controls were all sliders and dials, with intermediate detents you could feel, and you could vary fan speed, cabin temp and vent mode, without ever taking your eyes off the road. Guess that era has passed.

I come from that era also.

My first car was a used 1965 Dodge Coronet.

I still miss the vent windows in those era cars - the small triangular windows you could open to direct air on the driver or passenger - they were needed as air conditioning was an expensive option for luxury cars back then.

Toyota's site has the 2025 specs. It is just a mess. Got to scroll all the way down, and use the spec link there.

I should have said some at the site. Your link has info that was held back there.

The feature list seems more indepth there. The LE not having SKS is still true. There probably wasn't errors at the site
Same cabin and trunk volume as the outgoing model.
100kW for the motor. Nothing listed for AWD, but my guess it is the same as the Crown. It has the same engine and net power.
Fuel tank is 13 gallons. A little smaller, or they just rounded the number.

And it also didn't have AWD. The question raised was if they would move the tank elsewhere with the AWD components back there with the spare tire still in place. The ICE model with AWD loses over a gallon to make space for its components.

Toyota likely started using smaller tanks in the hybrids to help counter the weight of the battery.

Except that gas tank size is not the usable size. For some reason manufacturers are not required to state gas tank sizes as a measurement between when the gauge reads empty and when the automatic pump shut off occurs. There are required reserve area below and above those points to protect the emissions system that controls vapors and to prevent people from running out of gas and possibly damaging the fuel pump.

As an example, my tank is marketed as being 14.5 gallons. Usable is actually 9.8. And when I fill, I get a range of 510 miles displayed. Now tell me how 9.8 times 39.2 MPG is so much more than the realistic 384. Or using fuelly figures of 38.4 376.

I still had to look even with physical A/C buttons.

On the Avalon? That seems excessive (4.7 gal reserve). Toyota is usually around 2.6 gal or 10 litres.

That’s the thing: a row of identical buttons, and a mode button you need to tap multiple times, while watching a scrolling LCD, that’s a fail.

Here's the new baseline pricing for all 2025 Camry trims:
Model # Trim Base Price + DPH
    1 2559 Camry LE $29495
    2 2561 Camry SE $31795
    3 2560 Camry XLE $34495
    4 2557 Camry XSE $35695
    5 2552 Camry LE AWD $31020
    6 2553 Camry SE AWD $33320
    7 2555 Camry XLE AWD $36020
    8 2556 Camry XSE AWD $37220

With the 13 gallon gas tank, the range on the 2025 Camry XSE AWD is still 572 miles (921 km) and the range on the 2025 Camry LE FWD is 663 miles (1067 km). The LE AWD isn't that penalized with 650 miles (1046 km).

No my Rav4h. Studied to death over at rav4world. I could post the standards bodies diagrams too but they don't have the amounts. They do show when various alerts should happen and at what percentage of the tank they are to occur. NIST and SAE.

This from a Rav4h as an example. Diagram started out being in a Toyota CSP re the gas tank sensor fault and then the amounts were tested by rav4world members to quantify for that specific SUV.

great range if you don't mind driving with the low fuel warning. i get nervous.

we don't have that problem with the hycam, when the low fuel light comes on, it takes the balance of the safety amount.

On my 2021 Prius Prime Limited with touchscreen controls, there is a dedicated area for A/C on the screen, and there is no scrolling. You just touch that area, and it expands and shows the full controls. Moreover, there are physical/capacitive buttons for temperature, DEF, etc. I think it's as good as it gets. I don't want any more A/C buttons on my dash. It is just more clutter.

Ya, I feel your pain. I like the new Camry, but I feel your pain.
    1. Used "affordable" cars don't really exist. The used market has cooled down, but that's mainly been EV's and luxury cars. A 3, 4 or even 5-year-old Japanese sedan or hatchback all cost nearly new MSRP. It seems that if you want to spend half price (around $15k) you now have to look to the +100k mile cars.
    2. The econo cars are dissapearing. I'd be hard pressed to not buy a new Nissan Versa if I needed a car replacement this year. But next year the cheapest car in the USA will be over $20k with destination charges included. And we're talking about a car like the Chevy Trax, with it's 3 cylinder turbo charged engine (I wonder how long that would last here in the mountians where I live).
    3. Looking at my budget, I should be able to afford around a $5,000 car when looking at the 20/4/10 rule and factoring in the increased cost of insurance and tires. I'm sure that others are in the same boat.
I do like the new Camry. Does it come with a spare tire? Is there a tow rating by any chance (I don't care if it's 500lbs, just give me a tow rating). I'll never be able to afford one unless the used car market cools off enough. Then maybe some day.
