Got the code p2601.

Here's what I've done so far.
Tested the pump directly with a 12-volt battery. The pump works but when plugged in it does not.

Jumped the pump relay in the engine bay directly to see if the pump would work. I've done it before and I jumped the correct pins but nothing happened.

Seems like the power is not coming to the relay.

What could be my next steps to troubleshoot this?

A few months ago I had some rough running and p0301 on my engine.

I replaced all four spark plugs and the car has been doing ok since.

When I replaced the spark plugs I *think* I saw some liquid in the spark plug hole for cylinder 1...

I also *think* I swapped the cylinder 1 coil on to cylinder 3...

The other day the car started to run rough and p0301 came back. The car's not losing any noticeable amount of oil or coolant and still returns +50mpg.

I wanted to share this with everyone in the hopes it helps you as much as it's helped me. I'm the very proud owner of a 2005 Toyota Prius. Love my car, love the milage I get out of it, it may not be pretty but it's functional and it's the reason why unlike drivers of gas guzzlers I'm not stressing over the fuel prices of today.


Having said that, I HATE the fact that I have to keep guessing as to how much fuel is left in the tank, how much I can drive etc. It's a crapshoot...

I have two gen 2 Prius' ('05 and '07), and in 2022 I replaced one and refurbished the other HV batteries. Recently the refurbished one started to have issues, so after checking/testing the modules, I found that I need 7 good replacement modules. Ideally I need to find a seller in Europe, else the taxes would be a deterrent. Does anyone know of anyone selling modules for gen 2 HV batteries in Europe? 1. Is it always the hybrid battery? Can it be something outside battery too?

2. If it is hybrid battery, I have a spare in my garage. It was pulled from a totalled prius, bought at junkyard. But it has been sitting there for about 5-6 years. Is it still usable or would it have degraded to a point of no return?
