• I got the speed sensor and hub replaced what hitting a pothole.

• Less than a month later, the car flashed an error on the screen saying I needed to put the car in park. Additionally the dash lit up like a Christmas tree, so I immediately parked.

• I ran a scan using this Hyper Tough HT500 Bluetooth Scan Tool. I've attached the results.

• Evidently, my trunk had a leak, and water pooled...

I see a lot of high numbers from many new owners but it seems the ones who are tracking MPG with both methods are seeing wide swings of 6-10MPG less than the computer MPG. I would like to see if this is a common issue and the car is overestimating the MPG or if maybe there is an issue specific to say Dave's car or his fill-up stations.

I have a 2013 Prius with 270K miles.

I have done the EGR cleaning, Intake Manifold, Hybrid battery fan, replaced the PCV valve, and changed the 12V battery. I also changed the spark plugs and the coils last year.

The MPG Indicator in the car is inconsistent. For example, when I'm coasting, it should go all the up to 100, but several times it hovers around 50. I thought that it might be because it an older car and needs to warm up when I start driving, but it happens at all...

I was wondering if folks have experience with the Nokian WRG5 and/or the Michelin CrossClimate2, particularly on fuel efficiency. My Ecopia 422 Plus tires are running bare, and I'm looking for new tires with a bit more winter traction now that I live in Minneapolis, MN.
So far I have only really had to deal with frozen parking lots since snow gets plowed pretty thoroughly in the cities, where I drive the most in the winter. It'd be nice to have tires that can handle the downpours...

I've read some forums and there is alot of info on why MPG is worse in the winter and all that, but what I would like to know is how to improve it! I am getting between 40 and 42 MPG on my 2 week new Prius. The temperature has probably been above freezing, but below 45 F the whole time. I do not have a Garage to park my Prius in, and I don't even understand what this "Blocking" stuff is.

So can you offer tips on improving MPG in the winter? I would really love to see 50 MPG...

Previous owner has done 5K oil changes, ATF, spark plugs, etc ( I m not aware of when exactly). I do not believe he touched EGR.
