Usually when maintenance required screen comes on and after oil change i go into settings and reset the message. I recently did the oil change at 180k miles and reset the message but at 182k it came back on again and this time it says maintenance required "visit your dealer". When i go into settings it does not allow me to reset it. My guess is that its coming on perhaps due to major maintenance interval.

It's not the Li-ion battery, as most Prius models have the Li-ion battery. It's not the tires, as they are the same size and probably the same brand and model as well. Small increase in the recommended tire pressure wouldn't explain the huge difference in MPG. The aerodynamics are identical according to Toyota specs.
Does anyone know how to remove the trunk side moulding cover (highlighted) so I can check behind it? Have removed 2 bolts but the upper part of the moulding is held in place by the plastic panel above it. Water pours through the gap by the rear tailights and into this area then down to the trunk and rear seating.
