For local driving I can live with the fix-a-flat can, and I do have my own compressor for less serious issues.<br />
<br />
A few times a year I take longish trips--i.e., up to 200 miles each way. If I get a flat that&#039;s too much for the can to address... well, that&#039;s a problem. I&#039;ll be on my way to an event and a sidetrip for tire replacement (and the hours involved) would be an issue. <br />
<br />
So I was thinking about getting a full sized tire and wheel, that I would take along with me just on...<br />

It should be something like 7 or 8 in the picture. So this is one of the things Toyota Woburn sold me without and I didnt see when I got the car. So I will design mine and 3d print. <br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I used to drive gen 2 prius and I had a sunglasses holder. The Gen 5 hovewer, do not have that. So I made my own. I used Einstar Vega to 3D scan the original part, and I used 3ds Max to do reverse engineering / custom design. <br />

I use ASA for the material and 3D printing ASA is very difficult. I gor errors in mid printing. It takes around 11 hour to print whole thing. Once you succesful with that, you are good to use. If you suggest me anything I am open to hear....<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[With the upcoming winter storm about to make its presence known on the East Coast (along with a full week of below-freezing temperatures) I thought it would be prudent to block my Gen 5&#039;s radiator to reduce warm-up time.<br />

So far, it appears to be working well as I was able to get the ICE up to 150°F with moderate driving in less than 10 minutes with an ambient temperature of 15°F.<br />
