Well it seems Apple has answered my prayers. From what I have been reading video streaming is coming to CarPlay very soon.

There is several new references to CarPlay video streaming functionality within the up coming iOS 26.4 beta's source code.

I want to add the JBL Basspro SL2 under my passenger seat

Guides online say to tap into left and right signal wires for the high level input, but super confused on which wires I should tap into. Does anyone know which wires I should tap? I included pictures of the wire harnesses in the car

The car: new 2024 Prius LE (about 100 miles on it so far).

The problem: radio having been turned on, station selected, and playing at the end of a trip (power switch turned off, driver exits vehicle & locks doors).
