Once a month, I detail my 2024 LE by hand. I use products from The Chemical Guys. Here is everything I do to make the car look like this:

Step 1: Pre-Rinse

Step 2: First wash with Mr. Pink Car wash through Foam Cannon. Scrub dirty areas with Chenille Wash Mitt

Step 3: Use the rest of the Mr. Pink in the foam cannon for a second, but touchless car wash.

Today I woke up with 2 warning light:

Then I took my multimeter and measured the 12V voltage, after it was sitting few hours. I measured 11.85V

When the car is on, I measured 14.39V. So the DC-DC conventer is fine. Only the 12V is dying and I have some questions about it.

The dealership told me I need new front pads and rotors. I've got no problem with the pads but I question the rotors. What is the minimum thickness that would trigger replacement, assuming there are no vibrations or shimmies?

Any recommendations on how to clean out that nasty tree and debris stuff that goes into the cowling and wiper ends? I'm asking because I have a 2014 where some of the debris has made it down into the quarter panels back near the door and as a result, you get rot!

If you flush the back side of the quarter panels, (from above near the cowling) will it actually push the debris out, or only cause more issues?

I can't imagine getting even a small vac tube down there.

Hello everyone! I got into a minor accident over the weekend, and, unfortunately, my front driver side window shattered. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and my car has minimal body damage (a small dent and a few scratches on the front side panel). However, this still leaves me with a window-sized hole in my door . . . has anyone had any experience with this repair/replacement? Any opinions on aftermarket glass? And what costs should I be looking at? TIA!

2023 Prime Premium, I am getting these System Malfunction warnings after a front end collision (air bags deployed). Paid out of pocket to repair / replace all components/air bags with OEM new, and everything works fine there. Now there is this persistent notification on the dash about these sensor systems that don't work.

1st non-Toyota mechanic replaced everything to the point that all error codes were gone from the ECU. Lights still persisted, and said take it to dealer.

Hey guys, I have a 23 Prius XLE AWD with 45k miles. My Prius has had all of its maintenance done at my Toyota dealer where I know the owner (helped me get the car and upgrades, discounts, etc.)

This last maintenance the tech recommended a brake fluid flush and fuel injection service.

I know it’s not stated on the scheduled maintenance log in the owners manual. But wanted to ask if any one of you have done this service or plan to at what intervals?

2023 LE FWD - For some reason whenever I pull the hood release lever, the hood does not fully unlatch like it's supposed to. It partially releases so that I have to squeeze my fingers under it in order to access the lever under the hood. Anyone else have this problem or any ideas how to fix it? I've gotten a little look at the latch mechanism but not fully sure how it operates.

Help with steering issue after pothole

I'm in Mexico, and the roads are very bad. I fell into a large pothole, and now the steering wheel pulls to the left, and many warnings are showing on the screen. I cannot go to a dealer because the closest one is 500 km away.

I took the car to a tire center for alignment, but they told me I first need to go to a shop to center the steering box.

I think I have a damaged steering angle sensor on a gen 5 non-plug in. There are multiple error lights and text errors on the dash - see the attached picture for the lights and the text errors are typed out below. Paint discoloration

Anyone know what this paint discoloration is? It does not come off with cleaning products and the surface is smooth so it has to be under the paint. Could it be rust forming under there? Any idea how to remove?

What have I done? -
Checked both USB fuses in front driver kick panel. Both 7.5A and 10A fuses are good..

USB-C for radio data is good and works - use this vs Bt/WiFi for phone as my cars shit wifi connection fails randomly and Toyota won't admit it.

USB-C's in the center console are working properly. Can charge/connect to airpods/phone.

What I should have done instead of using the accessory position, was to turn the car "fully on" ready to drive in order that the big battery keeps little 12V happy.
