      <content:encoded><![CDATA[It&#039;s surprisingly easy for the rear wheels to go out of alignment.  The first time, the rear wheel rubbed through and blew out.  The second time, a tow truck hooked to my rear wheel to pull me out of the ditch.  I found out a bit later that the tire had worn through and blew out. I had checked it earlier for heating, but it remained cool.  This is not a reliable method for determining whether your wheel is out of alignment.]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I live in Toronto and I&#039;m having battery issues. Twice in a month I had to call roadside service for a jump because my car wouldn&#039;t start. It was in the extra cold winter, but this never happened with my older model Prius that I had for years. The Dealership has replaced the battery twice under warranty.<br />
Any insight into what&#039;s going on? I&#039;m not leaving it for weeks, only 2-3 days. <br />
I&#039;m trying to prevent continuing problems.<br />

It <i>looks like </i>it will come with the factory TPMS.<br />

If it does, no big deal, right?<br />
Just have the tire shop mount the tires and install?<br />
Car will sync with some touching of the infotainment screen?  (I will do some manual reading.)<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Has anyone had success with reading the Gen 5&#039;s inverter coolant temperature via OBD?<br />
<br />
I&#039;ve tried using both <b>OBD Fusion</b> and <b>Car Scanner</b> with a Bluetooth dongle to no avail. I&#039;ve attached screenshots of all the temperature readings, but nothing related to the inverter is showing. As you can see, I&#039;ve correctly selected the Prius Prime profile as well, so I&#039;m not sure what else to try.<br />

I&#039;m stumped!<br />

Although the 26 engine verbage in the manual clearly states 016w may be used for one cycle and then immediately go back to 0w8 consistently. <br />

Strange. Seems to be begging for a larger issue, even if possibly only technical. <br />

Apparently the same engine on non north American sold vehicles with this engine, Prius 5th gen.. always...<br />

1) The original battery installed at toyota factory is pictured below.<br />
2) The replacement battery replaced at a Toyota dealership under warranty is pictured below.<br />
The battery sizes are compatable for fit.<br />
The H2 venting of the two batteries are identical for installation inside the vehicle passenger space.<br />
The battery Specs, capacity are not identical.<br />

Next week tire shop is going to put new winter tires on the rims and I asked them to install the TPMS sensors I bought. They want $25 per tire just for programming!
