I got my blk 25 nightshade awd late last year and have lots of long term plans for it! Here are some off the top of my head:

1. Sound system upgrade (excluding head unit,without cutting factory wires).
2. 12v battery change (agm seems to be a good approach based on the first change)
3. Repaint car(at least hood and bumper because of rock chips)
4. Maybe ppf bumper
5. Subtle appearance changes
6. Change wheel and rims

I have found quite a lot of stuff to review through...

I’ve been unable to log in with my normal username/account for account for a couple of days, can’t even figure out how to report it or ask anybody about it. Doesn’t matter what browser or device I’ve tried.

I decided to create this account because I could see others were logged in and posting, and it worked. So now if I use the ‘contact’ or ‘about’ links at bottom of pages, it just goes to the main forum page. Ugh.

I just want a cheap cure to entirely and completely disable the alarm forever. Can anybody tell me what wires to cut? If not, will pulling the fuse for the horn out do the job?

I have been busy lately but finally made an account. First time owner of a Prius plug in and had to go through hell to get one. Shortages and tried hard to get the $4500 tax credit, but ran though a chain of unbelievable BS. So much so that you would think some mystical power was straight against it. The car came weeks earlier then scheduled. When they got the car they didnt call me till later. They left me a missed call and message and the damn kid had my phone at the time...

Changed the air filter, cabin air filter and took off the plastic surrounding the Hybrid battery fan and cleaned that area up. Installed LED low/high beams as the halogen bulbs were VERY dim. Also changed out all of the wiper blades for new ones. Anything else I should do to make it...

I fortuitously found this forum while searching for a Prius Plug-In Hybrid manual. It seems to be a wealth of information. From what I can gather, the repair manual is only online. Does anyone know of a good non-factory alternative? I haven't put my car through its paces yet, but any tips would be appreciated.
