      <content:encoded><![CDATA[A while back a post was made about a Prime that had heated air blowing out the vents regardless of the setting.  It was contagious.  My 2017 Prime came down with the same affliction.  The HVAC settings touch screen buttons didn&#039;t act right, no cool air, and the lower the temp setting the faster the fan blew (Auto-on) and the hotter the car got.  It got even hotter with the gas engine running, because the heat pump compressor wasn&#039;t running at all.<br />

I recently purchased a 2020 Prius Prime CPO from my local Toyota dealer. I noticed when I was driving on the highway that the headlights seem to be projecting to the side. I took some pictures when I got home. I plan on taking it to the dealer for them to look at but I wanted to get a quick sanity check on what the headlight pattern on the Prime is supposed to look like, or if anyone has an idea of what could be causing this.<br />

The cars haven’t changed.  Only the app did.  The cars have the reputation for lasting for decades.  Not supporting them now makes no sense.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[We have routine maintenance done on our 2020 Prius Prime yesterday and guess what ?  They did not try to upsell me anything !   It seems like they have a new manager in the service department and it was a better experience than last time.<br />

Anyhow, the service rep offered a bit of self-help advice to get some Sea Foam fuel additive and add it about every 3 or 4 tanks, he said it might be especially helpful if you do a lot of stop and go driving.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[When we took our 2020 Prius Prime to have routine maintenance yesterday there was a rep there from Safelite who showed us about 4 - 6 tiny dings on our windshield and said it increases the risk of the windshield cracking and said since we had full insurance coverage the insurance company would pay for the windshield replacement 100% including the calibration needed afterwards and even do it at our location.<br />

Has anyone had this offer and was it worth doing ?<br />

I know that if I store my phone down there and have it switched on that it will charge the phone while I am driving.  I often drive without my phone and can&#039;t really see the tiny light at the switch that shows it is on or off.  My question is:  Can I just keep it on all the time and not worry about turning it on when the phone is there and off when it is not?<br />

The description in the manual is puzzling: &quot;This feature is used to prevent ice from building up on the windshield and wiper blades.&quot;<br />

For one, it says <i>on the windshield</i>, but unless I&#039;m mistaken it only works on that small incidental bit of windshield where the wipers are parked (below the driver&#039;s field of vision), so yes, technically ice is being melted on the windshield, but not the part we need to see through...<br />
