I have a 2012 v Two I've been modding. (Side note, literally the only thing separating Two from Three is the presence of the "voice" button on the steering wheel. Swapped steering wheels with an eBay one and I have an aftermarket head unit with an iDataLink interface and you have yourself a Three!)

1) On Clutchfield it looks like there a lot of options to replace the head unit. Ideally I'd like one that has apple carplay, can do wireless and wired connection, and has a volume knob - which may be a tall order. Anyone have any recommendations? It looks like the well-reviewed ones with volume knob would be a much larger 10 inch floating display - has anyone tried this? Does it look silly/make it harder to use temperature...

Built out of 3/4” plywood, some hardwood pine, fiberglass filler.and your standard fare home improvement store black utility carpeting.

To get the fit as close as possible, I used a contour gage to make up some patterns out of some old crappy plywood and cardboard. Fitted the patterns together and with some trial and error came up with some templates...

Once I got them and went to install, they didn’t quite fit. I started on the drivers side and the two outside tabs did not line up correctly. And this is the side that has the single screw to hold them in. I then put it up to the factory fog light and it shows where the tabs are off.

New Prius owner here. My 2014 V just started having an issue where my wipers only work on the highest speed setting, the cleaning spray also works. No low speed, no medium, and it does not work to switch it up when you manually trigger wipers once. Also worth noting that when I trigger cleaning spray, the wipers do not also trigger.
I replaced the column switch (wipers only) with one from a slightly older Prius V, and that did not work either, so I switched back to the original...

After some comparison shopping, it appears that 42603-08030 is the same size, albeit slightly different design. I am taking a chance and ordering these instead, because these are much easier to purchase used OEM genuine. I bought a set of 4 used ones on eBay for $15.

I'm looking into doing the stupidest, most unnecessary mod for the hell of it, and was just curious if anyone else had.

Apparently, "fleet-spec" Prius Alphas (v in Japan) were sold as the Daihatsu Mebius, which is a much cooler name.

Switching would only take the front badge, rear badge, rear model badge, and....oh, right. The airbag.

Just curious if anyone else had done such a swap or could even point me in the direction of the right part numbers, because holy cow,...

Even though our Gen 2 was a touring model with the 16 inch wheels, we were able to use a set of 15 inch snow tires that my dad had used on the previous. Prius was 15 inch wheels. We still have them in our basement.
