My older black cat, BooBoo, will hiss at the vacuum when I fire it up, then run away and hide somewhere. He will also do that if I use the Swiffer on the floor My younger orange cat, Doc, will not only NOT hiss at the vacuum, I usually have to either vacuum around him, or use the powerhead to nudge him out of the way
My former tom cat enjoyed being vacuumed. I never tried it with the powerhead, but the upholstery tool worked well. Tom
The older cat enjoys his twice a day brushing, but once the vacuum fires up he hisses and runs away I have tried using the upholstry brush on the younger one. You kill two birds at once: brush the pelt, and vacuum up the loose hair With that and his once-a-month bath, the younger cat hardly ever has loose hair flying around. The older cat is basically a walking hairball
I'd never be able to get close to the cat with the vacuum. As soon as I enter the room where she is, she gets up and leaves.
