Eventually they will if Metra hasn't already came out with one. The do make one for the GenII so I assume they will eventually. You can check the Metra Electronics website. The problem is that replacing a double DIN with a single DIN is likely to look pretty bad. Is there a specific reason you want to go single vs. double?
Tell me if I am wrong but double din is for an opening approx 4 inches x 7 inches and single is for an opening 2 inches x 7 inches? I want to replace the factory HU with an after market HU. Most of the after market HU are 2 x 7 inches. The double din is for HU with nav?
Single DIN should look fine...you can also do a double din hole with a single din stereo and single din tray. I did this on my old rodeo and it looked fine and gave me a little storage spot. I might do this in my prius if anyone ever releases the trim pieces.
All the pictures I've seen of the 2010 showed a "double DIN" sized opening and not a standard single DIN opening. Sorry for the confusion. Yes, double DIN refers to the U.S. standard of 4"x7". a lot modern cars do not have a perfect 4"x7" opening though and this is where install kits can start to look funky when you try to plug a hole that is 5"x10" on the top and 5x7" on the bottom with a plastic kit.
Not all double din stereos are equipped with Nav. You can find aftermarket double din that has full touchscreen, dvd, and Ipod full controls. Here is an example..... Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD In dash double din. Kenwood DDX-512 Double din.
