Well who'da thunk it... EXCLUSIVE: Former Toyota Lawyer Tells ABC News Automaker Hides Safety Problems In His First On-Camera Interview, Dimitrios Biller Accuses Company of 'Hypocrisy and Deceit' By JOSEPH RHEE, ASA ESLOCKER and MARK SCHONE - ABC News From another forum I frequent:
Is this the same Dimetrious Biller of earlier fame? "On Friday, September 25, the California Superior Court for the Country of Los Angeles issued two significant rulings in connection with litigation involving former Toyota attorney Dimitrios Biller. Citing his efforts to disclose confidential Toyota information for “personal financial gainâ€, the Court issued a preliminary injunction against Mr. Biller, converting the temporary restraining order that was already in place. The Court also took the highly unusual step of requesting that the California State Bar investigate Mr. Biller’s alleged violations of attorney-client privilege, which could lead to his disbarment." Much, much more of this tawdry business here. I wonder what he's up to now...
It is an interesting fact that lawyers will be disbarred when they tell the truth about their clients.
Also I should add... "If the services of the lawyer were sought or obtained to enable or aid anyone to commit or plan to commit what the client knew or reasonably should have known to be a crime or fraud" is an exception.
You understand confidentiality, right? Even if you don't, at this point it's he said / they said - until I see some actual data / emails / whatever, I believe NEITHER.
One of Toyota's top legal opponents got wind of Biller at the end of last year and started yelpin an hollerin for all the cases he lost to be reopened and for Congress to investigate Toyota for hiding evidence. Then he and Biller got together and he read Biller's stuff....awwww sh*t! He then went public and retracted everything he said previously. He said that Biller is a buffoon and a wacko. 'Please ignore everything I said before.' Seriously, this really did happen.
Is the guy a wacko, or has Toyota destroyed him? If/when evidence is found that gives his story any credence, look out. We will all get to hear the term 'Toyota-gate' all too often. There are currently stories in many publications using the term stone-walling and unforthcoming. Look out.
