2008 Prius - it jumps/accelates when hits bumps

    or when it is raining or snowing. Is this normal? A red light comes on btw.

    Sound like you are experience normal anti-lock brake behavior. There is a dash icon that lights up to let you know the car is experiencing this.

    The ABS light is not red though... it's orange and looks like a skidding car.
    If the stability control kicks in the system will beep as well.

    What symbol is on the red light ?
