I've looked and searched, and find no instructions/information on a DIY seat heater install for GEN III. The following is a good DIY for GEN II. Prius seats Are there significant differences between GEN II and GEN III? Anyone do this? Thanks, Eric
I don't know what the differences are but that is a great write-up. I couldn't find any prices for the Cartek heaters though ~ any idea?
Here are a few sites I'd previously found that I would consider to use... Automotive Heated Seats Kits, Ventilators, Cooling, Cushions, Blankets, Massagers & Accessories Seat Heater for Cars and Trucks from AutoWarm.com So, you could figure between $100-$200. (I like the 5 position dial switch one - similar to the OEM heaters in my wife's VW Passat). If you're considering doing it, please do take some photos to document the similarities/differences
In Ontario it is about $250 a seat to have it installed and it was about the same price as it was in 2004
