Cool. I wish I'd had one of those when I lived in North Dakota. (Here, I only have a tiny bit of driveway to shovel, and if we get more than 4 inches, they do it for me.) And this year I never even touched the shovel.
Unlikely, given the nature of snow. The Roomba and Lawnbott only need to pass once over each bit of space to be vacuumed or mowed. A snow plow has to move a variable amount of snow to a suitable holding area, and when a given area has as much snow as the plow can push or pile onto it, further snow must be pushed someplace else, and more than one pass is usually needed, depending on how the snow falls away from the plow. I would not mind having to operate the thing, whether remotely or from a seat or cab. There are snow plows and snowblowers readily available for purchase, but what I love about this one is that it's electric! I never bought a snow blower because the idea of pouring gasoline from a can at 20 degrees below zero, while wearing heavy mitts, and probably getting some of it on myself, seemed worse than getting exercise with a shovel in the bitter cold. The price of living in a bitterly cold climate, too far from anywhere to be able to pay someone to shovel your 220-foot driveway.

I would need one with a rotary plow. We get too much snow to push it out of the way. You either need to throw it, or truck it away. Tom
I don't think using a $108,000 hand built car as a snow plow (without actually having a plow) is a great idea. Shell out the extra $600 for a snow blower or go hire ROBOPLOW. Ok... It was fun to watch though!
That thing would not have made a dent in my 220-foot driveway back in North Dakota, which after a good blizzard could have four feet of HARD PACKED snow on it. And here in Spokane I don't need a snow blower for my 12-foot driveway, which I don't even have to clear myself when there's 4 inches of snow or more.
+ Heck I don't plow until it's at least 2X as high as the amount on THAT sidewalk/driveway. Even the Prius can plow through 2X that much. I'll wait until the existing electric snow blowers like the one below get modded to go remote: .
That's what I always used back in North Dakota on my 400-foot driveway. But I've upgraded here. Now I have one with an ergonomically curved handle for use on my 12-foot driveway. Never even had to use it this year though. Maybe global warming is not such a bad thing after all.
