Once I had my regular oil change and tire rotation done at an independent location, I reset the maintenance required light by pressing the odo/trip button and at the same time pressing the start button twice. This has worked in the past and it worked to turn off the maintenance required light this time but when I restarted the car, my radio will not turn on. Is there any easy way to fix this problem and get my radio working again?

I cannot think of any way that turning off the Maint Reqd light would disable the audio system. I think it is most likely a coincidence. I would try disconnecting the 12v battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting on the very slim chance that it may reset the audio system.

Just a follow up. I took the car to my Toyota dealership and they could only tell me that I had an internal problem with the radio and they could get me a refurbished one for under $200. I left to think it over and about half way home I started to get some sound out of the radio. It wasn't much but gave me hope. Two days later, the radio had returned to normal operation and has since then been fine. ?? . I still can only associate the problem with the reset of the message. I am not ready at this time to try and recreate the problem. Just sharing my experience. Thanks.

While holding the ODO button, you only need to press the start button once. The process is in the Owner's Manual. It seems like a long short, but maybe that 2nd push on the start button upset the radio.
