Oh one last word of warning: DO NOT JUMP the other person's car backwards. Do not short circuit your jumper cables by tapping them together to make a spark. If you screw up, you'll be in for a VERY EXPENSIVE repair.
Has anyone looked at the +12v connection that your supposed to attach too? It looks like a piece of jewelry!

The most common reason is leaving a door or the hatch ajar. Get into the habit of always locking your Prius. It will beep at you and refuse to lock if any of the doors are ajar. Tom
