What do you suppose the trade in value of the 2010 IV package would be (in excellent condition - no dents, scratches, mechanical issues) with less that 10k miles - been in operation 1 year? Does anyone have any solid info on this? Just curious!
Would it be at all possible to sell yourself? Dealerships need to make money on their trade-ins therefore need to take it in at much lower than market value. I would assume you can sell private party for maybe a three grand below MSRP, but trade-in would be a couple grand less than that. That's just my guesstimate.
Perhaps 20%. The market is full of these cars now ie the dealerships have lots of them. I checked out two dealers today and one has thirty and the other has twenty two. Out the 52. only one V. None have the Misty Gray interior. I have a Black V with MGI. That seems to be a rare combo in New England. Why are you selling? I did take a hit on the 2010 Insight - three weeks @5K. I did sell it myself. It did take a while but I lost 2,200.00 instead of the 5K at the dealer. I had to get rid of the Insight because I was soooooooooooooo disatisfied. Good luck,
