2004 battery warranty 100k vs. 150k

    I purchased my Prius in new in California and have moved to Arizona for most of it's life so far. Will my battery warranty follow the 100k miles or the 150k miles as a Californis purchase? Thanks!

    In order for the CA hybrid system warranty to apply, the vehicle has to have been sold new in, registered in, and operated in CA. Please check with your favorite Phoenix Toyota dealer to confirm this.

    Thanks Patrick. Not the answer I really wanted to hear as I have about 91k miles on it now. I will double check with my Toyota dealer! Thanks again...

    Just got back from Big2 Toyota in Chandler and was told that the warranty would be in effect for the 150k miles because the car was sold as in California as a Ca. model...That's nice to know!

    Excellent, hope the story does not change if/when you need to file a claim under that warranty.
