On both my 2006 Toyota Prius vehicles we bought a 7 year extended warranty when we bought them in Honolulu, Hawaii in April and then the second car in June of 2006. Now we live in Utah and I am trying find out exactly what is included in this 7 year warranty now that the cars are 4 years old. Does anyone have a link to that information? I did check here and there are some posts about extended warranties but I didn't see this question there.
Is it the Toyota Platinum warranty? It should be basically an extension of the original bumper-to-bumper warranty that came with the car.
I recommend that you find your warranty documentation and study it. If this was sold to you by Servco, it is possible that the warranty will be valid only when performed by a Servco service center.
