Hello I recently bought a 2010 prius. I love the car. However I found a prius here locally and thinking about getting it for my parents. Its a 2006 with 140k. I am wondering what I should look for. They said they replaced the battery with one from a 07. Has anyone taken these cars to 200k+ also what things tend to break or need replacement after 140k? Thanks for the info. I tried to search on high milage all i tend to pull up is stuff about mpg.
Front struts and rear shocks typically are dead way before that odometer reading and may cost ~$2K if you have a Toyota dealer replace them. What was the odometer reading of the 2007 when the battery was taken from it? Look at the 100K and 200K mile sticky threads in the 2G main forum, for owner stories.
