I thought I'd check out all the excitement of the Labor Day sales and went to the first dealer. They let me drive the car and it was just great. This was my first drive in a 2010. It really is better than my dad's 2005 Prius in just about every way. The salesman sat me down and we talked numbers. The sales manager came out and told me he wanted way over sticker because the car was upgraded with wheel locks. At first, I thought the guy was joking. I could buy those at Pep Boys for $25. He wasn't joking and I made a remark to the salesman that he should go to work for the other Toyota dealer across town because I thought he otherwise did a great selling job but the sales manager must be smokin' something. I drove across town to the dealer I was thinking about and we struck a deal that was $2,100 less than the looney-tunes offer from the other place. So, tomorrow we finish the paperwork and the car comes home with me. Its a 2010 silver Prius II. YEAH-BABY, ITS FINALLY GONA BE MINE!!!
