fuel gauge and odometer reset themselves

    Sorry, this subject has been posted previously. Yesterday morning I had two bars left on my gas gauge. After a short errand, the gauge and the odometer reset themselves: the gauge went to one bar short of full, and the odometer (on the MFD) reset itself to zero. Anyone else have this happen?

    I said to myself, "He must have a 2004". Yup. The 12V battery is old moldy toast. Replace it before the car won't start.
