Anyone know how to change the carbon and air filter on 2010 Prius Gen III? Dealership charge $70 to change carbon filter. Before I spend the money want to make sure if that is a good deal.
I assume you are referring to the cabin air filter? If so you are in luck, it's in the owner's manual page 457. Just pick up a filter from the auto parts store or the dealer and put it in, about 10 minutes, no tools required. I picked one up at Napa Auto Parts # FIL 4483, $15.99. Engine air filter is just as easy but you may need a screw driver to pop the clips loose. Napa Auto Parts # FIL 9320, $22.99.
