Happy B'day MS. Now . . . . may you die, as quickly as you abandoned your own virtually new 6.5 mobile OS twitchy - flakey - lock proned as it is. May your buisness suffer the way you drove great(er) companies out of the market (wp ... netscape ... etc). How does it feel MS ... to watch Iphone and android slaughter you. It's just a matter of time. ound:
same wireless router that has performed flawlessly for a few years. same environment so i don't think it's interference. i'll have to try wiring it and see what happens. it has a program, when it drops the internet, it says "internet connection lost, restore last session or start over" or something to that effect. thanks!
If you can grab a screenshot of that message, that might help. For all we know, that might be some OEM provided connection manager that's conflicting/fighting with Windows' connection management. Try looking for a newer driver for the network adapter via Windows Update, your (presumably) laptop vendor, esp if they have an update mechanism, or NIC chipset vendor. Ages ago, I had a BSOD problem on a Win2k box with a wired PCI NIC. There were no newer drivers from the vendor (Linksys, IIRC) but there were newer drivers the NIC's chipset vendor. It wasn't obvious who that vendor was. Problem was solved w/newer driver.
