We have had a bunch of religious threads recently? Is this a statistical blip, a change in membership, or just the result of a couple of active posters? Posting this thread, I do see a previous thread from 2007 titled "Who's Tired of Religious Threads?", so perhaps this is nothing new. Any ideas? Tom
Maybe the "Who's Tired of Religious Threads?" thread should be revived like the others that seem to have risen from the dead. Is there any support for the idea of a separate religious forum, to separate it from the mainstream like was done with politics?
Looks like it's back. "The B Ship Thread." We gather up all of the religious and political posts, and then blast them off into space. Tom
I think some statistic are in order... too bad Bob isn't here. First one I would look at is who is starting these so call "religious" threads.
Because we are close to the apocalypse. For anyone that wants a really good laugh, read this page: Prophecy calendar for 2011, 2012, and beyond -- recent past and future dates -- New Age, Bible prophecy, King James version Bible Code, and astrology predictions of world events The best part... They believe that is "rational" thinking... I sort of hope the resurrection thing happens and takes all the crazies away and leaves the planet for sane people.
 I was only kidding. Teasing. Maybe I need to work on my sense of humour. When I'm trying to be funny, people think I'm serious. When I'm bitterly sarcastic and truthful, aiming for the jugular, people think it's hilarious. I guess stand-up is just too difficult when I'm sitting down.
i noticed all these threads too. It seems though like they are just a way for the non-believers to bash religion, at least as i have seen it. Not sure what the motivation was behind all of them.
I figured out what is going on. This is straight from the conspiracy desk: The atheist are creating and drumming up these old contentious threads in a plot to annoy the moderators in a hope they will ban these types of threads. What do you think?
Smiling Bob? For a number of years my avitar was the pitchman for the herbal male enhancement - Enzyte....just called my car a 2000 Honda Enzyte to take a shot at the H2
It's winter. People are bored. Football teams aren't doing as well as hoped. The Internet seems like a great place to work off all that boredom. We end up with controversial threads. They will vanish in the spring.
Are you kidding, Green Bay is going show the clods from Chicago the Lombardi spirit is alive and well!!
