I have a 2005 with package #2. Is it possible to route a video signal to this MFD? I've read through the documentation to install anytime video and I'm just curious if this will work. My main concern is that the MFD will not accept any video at all.
If you have NAV it is quite difficult due to it's digital video interface. The lower resolution non-NAV MFD accepts Standard TV video signals so it is reasonable to add a switch and a secondary video feed. JeffD
I don't have a nav in my car. I bought a Haynes manual but the schematics in there suck. Does anyone have detailed schematics for a 2005 Prius. Finding the wires is the majority of the problem.
Have you tried Lockpick? I am considering getting one they claim they can give you a video input, disable reverse bleep and screen lockouts etc check them out TOYOTA LOCKPICKS I hope it helps, let us know what you think
Those are expensive. Plus, my MFD doesn't have the video routed from the camera to it. I have an after market back up camera that goes to my mirror. If the MFD has the availability to do it, I'd do it myself for about $10. I just need confirmation that it can be done and a schematic.
