Just wanted to remind everyone how hard pollen season is on the cabin filter. Down here in Florida its been a record year. I have been cleaning my cabin filter almost twice a month and its been pretty bad everytime I look. Even has leaves in it. And its garaged. I found I could handwash the Totoya oem cabin filter real gently. Let it dry out then use this stuff on it. The spray filter charger works really good both home and car: Shop for WEB 14 Oz. Aerosol Filter Charger - WCHARGER at The Home Depot
I just got two Fram "Fresh aire" filters from Amazon. Not that I'm a huge Fram fan, but I think the carbon filter might reduce the pollen leak-through with the filter. We'll see.
Yes I saw those too. Are they the gray looking ones? Let us know if there good. I wonder if you can wash them? I never saw them in person but have seen pictures. The standard Toy factory cloth one is tougher than I thought as I could wash it without it falling aprt. Maybe just once though as the pollen seeds are getting stuck in the fiber.
Walmart sells this same Fram product at a similar price. however...i'm having a hard time paying $25+ for an air filter. that said, i'm in the camp with those that have chosen to use a thin furnace filter which is cut to size (if you know what i mean...). this product can be purchased at Lowes or HomeDepot, comes in a sheet that will make 4 filters, costs under $3.
