I'm about to purchase a 2007 Prius and I'm trying to find my way around the forums. I have a couple questions I really need help with. 1. I need help with hooking up a amp and sub in my car. 2. What is the best dash kit to get for a after stock radio. I'm gonna get a Pioneer 6300ub. There are two choice (metra or scoche) If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated. I've also ordered two pairs of Rockford Fosgates 6.5 Primes for the front and back doors. I'll post pics of install when I do then. Thanks in advance.
Welcome aboard! I hooked my sub directly to the 12volt battery in the trunk. Can't help with the dash kit as I have a GenIII. Good luck!
Absolutely. It is just that the battery is in the back of the car. Also note that the battery is about 1/2 the size of a standard one so you want to make sure the amp turns off when the car is shutdown (to eliminate as much draw on the battery as possible).
