Wow, I love my car. Thanks to those who gave advice concerning washing and cleaning products. Gave my baby a good wash job Saturday and bought a ton of stuff to protect inside and out. She is currently getting 45.3 mph combined and held her on in Eco on the xpressway. The pairing to my old Nokia flip phone was a piece of cake. I thought there might have been a rattle from a vent but haven't heard anything yet. This car is amazing. Everyone has been impressed with the design and the intelligence of it all. I do miss the hidden object monitor in the side mirrors but my JBL sound system, ipod interface and solar moon roof make up for the loss of that. I bought the Magueire New Car kit, Invisible Glass (both types) and protective mats for the floorboards and back storage area. I just pray that she doesn't have issues like some others have posted. The whole world should drive these great cars.
Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat. I'm pretty sure a clean Prius gets at least 5 MPG more than others. I try to wipe my down each day. The rattles come and go as the temps and road conditions rise and fall. Be patient with that stuff because IMO, nothing beats the great MPGs, technology and low-emissions.
I didn't know it was possible to love a car as much as I like my Prius! When I die, I'm giving my car to PriusChat because I know it's the only place who will take as good a care as I do.
