Hey everyone, I am an Arkansan that is happy to be the proud owner of a 2010 silver prius package III w/ leather. Unfortunately, I cannot attach any pictures, although I am certain that you all have seen this car many, many times before. The reason I cannot attach pictures is because it is being trucked up from Louisiana, but it should arrive early next week. I will soon let go of the reins on my 2004 subaru forester xt that I love. I am excited about the learning adventure that a prius will bring, and am practically going to be paying the car payments with the money saved in gas... I got the 2010 because it had 0% financing. I paid MSRP, which I dont mind as I wouldve had a high interest rate on a 2011. This all seems to make sense to me even though I am still in shock from putting money down and not having the car to drive around. I am weary of the situation, but the dealership is great and I am sure that if anything is awry, they will come to and fix it for my wife and I. A little about myself...I live in little rock and am attending the medical school here for a degree in physiology and biophysics...its fun, but I want to go to the school of medicine as I dont think I want to teach anymore... Anyways, I hope the silver turns out to be a nice color, I wanted white, but the 2010 they had in texas sold before they could arrange a dealer trade. I am preparing to call them and have them "update the computer?" to fix the braking issues. I have also read that it is nice to have the reverse beeper disabled...although I dont recall hearing anything when I reversed the prius on a test drive. Finally, I hope this finds all of you well. I hope to be an active member of this community and learn how to get the most out of this car as it is the biggest purchase I have made to date.

:welcome: good luck with medical school! i'm sure you will love it. i have never had the exact color car i want, if there is such a thing, but, when you're inside of it, it doesn't make any difference!

Welcome. I just picked up my 2010 and I love it. My 08 has never had any issues at all. Never been in for any repairs so I know they are reliable. Was at the Chicago auto show and I overheard a man talking to a Toyota rep and he was saying he had 250,000 miles on his Prius. Don't know what year it was bit it certainly made me smile. Welcome! I have the silver and love it. It wasn't my first choice either (I wanted blue.) but it's great, especially in hot weather. It doesn't show dirt, either. And it's the inside that you'll see the most of anyway. You'll love your car!
