Does anyone know if Carpool stickers will be available in 2011 in California? It seems like the program ended Dec 2010. It looks like a different program will become available in 2012. Does anyone know if a 2011 will qualify? Thanks!
No, definitely not for non-plugin Priuses. Unsure what you mean by "I seems like the program ended Dec 2010." They reached their 85K stickers given out (I have them as I lived in CA previously) LONG ago. The yellow stickers are valid until 7/1/11. You can still get the white stickers for the vehicles listed above.
The HOV yellow sticker has been done for several years now. You didn't just missed it by a few months.
Yep. From http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=435689: I bought my 06 Prius in mid January 06 and IIRC, my CA HOV sticker number was already 49xxx. The # they gave out was increased at least a few times before they stopped at 85K.
