It is a very small help, but I put it out there because

    1) These easy to deploy flexible solar could have many uses.
    2) The solar may help get more of the membranes out there instead of clay caps on landfills. The geomembranes help collect the gas and prevent water from causing more pollution. I'm sure this is also a way the landfill operators can use the solar subsidies, AFAIK biogas is not subsidies ed but not collecting it does cause environmental problems. Green choice does pay for the extra price of electricity from the landfill in the article.

An adequate amount of small stuff = a big thing:rockon:

The flexible solar arrays obviously have to be rugged to survive that type of handling in that environment. There must be some more unusual uses for them.
