Hi there, it's been a while. Am loving my 08 Prius that I bought in October but now that things are warming up, I can see a problem with heat generated by the dark dash under that expanse of glass. Do the lighter color dash mats help much, and if so have you seen any that aren't carpet? That seems a little cheesy, though I don't know what else they could make them out of...if you have used any particular brand and are happy with it would like to hear about it. Thanks!
You might want to look in to tinting your windshield. I have mine tinted with Llumar Air Blue 80 and it makes a big difference in the amount of heat in the car. I had it removed and reinstalled without the car is really hot and with it installed it is barely warm. Posted from my iPhone via the Tapatalk app.
