I'll drink your cherry smoothies...just so you are safe. Anyone try apricot kernels? Sort of taste like almonds. Grape seed extract is supposed to be good for you. Either Blueberry seeds are small or they are not in the berry. Figs are almost all seeds. Seeds you should not eat, unless you have free dental. Dates, olives, cherry, avocado
Seems like no one remembers laetrile. Take a look at the Wikipedia entry for this substance. It was a quack cure for cancer back in the 70's.
I knew a guy who married a gorgeous stewardess. He swears his opening line was "are you a spitter or a swallower?"
As long as they make it through security.... edit: Oops. This shows up on the public list of current topics, doesn't it? Sorry, I'll behave now.
pumpkin. . . sunflower . . . and extract of grape. Now, I understand some folks find medicinal purposes in smoking some kinds of seeds ... so I've heard.
I picked up a few Guava fruit the other night. Going through the produce section it was: "what is that smell?". I literally followed my nose to the source, and decided to buy a few to try. I found you can eat the whole thing, even though there's quite a pack of seeds, they go down easy. You can basically disappear the whole thing, except maybe the stem. Interesting flavour. OTOH, I convinced my son to try one, and half the thing ended up on the plate, too many seeds in his opinion.
You can get a handy-dandy cherry pitter. I used to use one of those 25 years ago (YIKES!) when I would make pans and pans of bread pudding. That juice is still going to get on your fingers unless you wear gloves.
Good one. I'll have to consult you next time I start a thread to see if there are zinger titles I could use.
Apple, watermelon, and grapefruit seeds, and mulberries from the tree with a light garnish of spider webbing.
Weirdest Thread? Nah...barely scratches the surface...and that's exactly why I unexplainably spend way too much time at this site....
