Massachusetts Woman's Body May Have Gone Unnoticed in Public Pool for Days - FoxNews.com How does this happen...
The water was cloudy due to the body, what are you gonna do? That's not a comment on the original reason why she drowned. The lifeguard should have done his job.
Summer jobs, Life Guard wanted, no abilities needed, contact employment division City of Fall River, Massachusetts
More nincomepoop naysayers just because they dislike the messenger... Here ya go Bra... it ain't Fox... but it does have many of the same facts that Fox told us about. State closes 30 pools after woman’s body is found in Fall River
I guess what really bothers me about this is that she was there at the pool with someone that knew her, and they left without her... after she went under, they left the pool... Who does that... especially if the gal isn't a swimmer... why wasn't she wearing a floation device if she isn't a swimmer. And no-one that she knew said anything about her not being around after the swim. That bothers me...
Why close the pools? Just fire all the useless city employees & let people swim at their own risk. Honestly, there's people in the office that if they died we wouldn't notice.
latest here: nothing. state and local pols starting to blame each other. i did hear one report yesterday that said her friends thought she went home.
Not with cloudy water. Of course, if the water was that cloudy they should have closed the pool anyway. Tom
Too many aspects of this story are bothersome - which is an immediate tipoff that there is more to this story. Any story that "bothers" is most likley incomplete, missing important details (like facts, for example). That isn't to say negligence wasn't a factor, but any tale incredible enough to activate the "bothered" gland is probably just that: incredible, as in not credible. I'll bet if more details emerge over the next few days they'll include facts that explain most of what on its face seems to be inexplicable behavior. Not necessarily excuse it, but explain it.
Same here. You don't just leave the pool and go home while your friend lies at the bottom of the pool unless your really don't like them.
Here is what happened (a la Monk): The friends took her to the pool, and trotted her around so that someone would "notice" her when she was alive. Then they drowned her in the bathtub at home, and then put her body in the pool (the people who went in for an illicit swim) who then "found" her. The kid she was "watching" was in on it. Mystery solved. See, the people who were responsible for the pool couldn't have been that irresponsible! :nono:
That's got to be one nasty pool if'n you can't see a black person dead at the bottom of a pool in 8 or 9 feet of water during the day.
The issue was the pool was cloudy before she drowned - that is how she went unnoticed. The pool never should have opened.
