Doesn't fuel end up costing like $100 a gallon (not to mention however many lives that are lost) once it gets into the battlefield these days? I'd assume efficiency confers a tactical/strategic advantage as well.
Yeah pretty much. I posted an article a month ago that stated such. Less fuel needed equals less convoys to protect, greater mobility and strategic ability for troops, increased flexibilty in foreign policy, and cleaner environment. Sounds like a good deal to me.
