Just saw a picture of the new Nissan Juke. My God, that thing is Fugly. 2011 Nissan Juke details, specs spilled ahead of New York intro *Updated w/video — Autoblog
Even before this thread, I saw some pics and thought it was quite ugly. Nissan styling is all over the map and includes some really ugly/odd vehicles, IMHO. I wonder if it'll be sales dud and if they're forced to redesign some of it early, like what happened w/the Subaru Tribeca.
Fugly but not world class fugly. The Aztec set the bar so high that it is hard to make a car that is truely worthy of being called world class fugly.
Hmm...I don't immediately hate it. I'd want to see one in person. But it's not so bad. Kind of looks like a Kia Soul mated with a Honda Fit. I don't know, I don't mind pushing the envelope in styling but function and utility must remain. With just 2 doors and folding seats....that's not enough.
I saw a Nissan Juke recently and threw up in my mouth a little bit, so Nissan Puke sounds right to me. But I wouldn't say the Puke is the ugliest car ever. That Fiat above is quite hideous.
That looks like something made for a Science Fiction movie about some near future dystopian society where it is illegal to have any fun or beauty in your life. It's more soulless weird instead of fugly like the Aztec.
Beauty is in the mind of the beholder... I think the prius is as ugly as it gets but I could care less how it looks, I care about function. My favorite auto is a citroen, most feel the're ugly
There are ugly cars all over the world but I'm talking about the one that you can walk into the dealership and buy here in the US. The Juke takes the cake on Fuglieness.
I am also an old fan of the Citroen DS. The car was styled aerodynamically and the hydraulic suspension was very comfortable, ahead of its time!
I've always thought that Pacer and Pintos were more known for its unreliability rather than appearance. BTW good luck going to a dealership and buy a Pacer. I'm talking about new cars of today.
http://www.american-motors.de/en/pacer/history/ You can't tell me that isn't ugly. I never drove one, so I can't tell about reliability, but I'm sure it was quite bad. You can see the in videos, I think emenem put one in a fairly recent one. As I said, the Nissan family of cars is the ugliest that I see today. Its tough to pick the worst of them, but probably the cube.
