I just bought a 2011 Prius and it came with the carpeted floor mats. Our 2009 had all weather floor mats and I really liked them. Looking in the PC shop, they have 2010 OEM floor mats. Does anyone know if they fit the 2011 also? Also, a set of 4 of them is about $90 but just the front WeatherTech mats are about $110. Can anyone tell me why they're so much more expensive?
goober nut, Yes, the 2010 OEM floor mats (part # PT908-47100-02 will also fit your 2011 model. There were no significant changes made to the interior for 2011 so you will be good to go my friend The reason why the WeatherTech mats command such a premium over the OEM mats is because of the catchet that this brand enjoys. WeatherTech has been successful for many years at marketing their line of floor mats as premium, upper market products that rival, if not succeed the quality and fit of OEM floor mats. Between you and me, I think that the OEM floor mats would be perfectly sufficient
The 2010 is the same car as the 2011! Had the Toyota all weather mats in my 2009 and really liked them,But they changed the design and I went with the Weathertechs for my 2010 and very happy with them!Worth every penny. They catch a lot of dirt too! EZ clean rinse with water dry n little Armor All and they look new!
I found the OEM carpetted floor mats adequate. They will breath better, compared to something plastic/rubber. The only irritant: it took less to no miles before we'd blown-out a hole through the driver's mat where the heel of your gas foot rests. There's no rubber reinforcement mat sewn on, like a lot of other vehicles we've had.
