This car includes a Toyota Manufacturer Bumper to Bumper warranty (includes the hybrid system) with 6 years, 94,000 miles remaining in coverage! This is by far the best car I have ever owned, but I need to downgrade to save some cash. Here are a few quick notes: Hybrid system enables 45 to 65 MPG based on the driver and season. Power windows and locks, keyless entry and doorhandle entry sensor - there is no key to this car, it is all RFID technology. Added Toyota factory remote starter Ecopia tires for improved gas mileage Car was detailed inside and out in May 2011 4 drive modes: Standard, Eco-mode, Electric Vehicle, and Power mode. Computer system tracks all aspects of performance on the center display screen. Aux jack for mp3 player Hatch-back and fold down back seats enable you to carry plenty of Cargo. On just one tank of gas, this car will take you 450 to 600 miles! I truly believe that the Prius is by far the best car on the road. I would not be selling it if I didn't have to. Sounds like that car has the extended warranty included if it still has 94K miles of coverage left, so you would have to at add the cost of adding an extended warranty when comparing to a new car with only the 36K bumper to bumper warranty. He still might need to lower price more and be more clear about what specific version of the extended warranty it has to get a taker though.
