I searched, but couldn't find the thread about how dealer would react when they see hitch installed in a new Prius (when car is brought in for service). Any chance that dealer would try to void your warranty? Thanks,
A dealer can't void a warranty. They can refuse to provide warranty coverage for damage that occurred as a result of improper use or maintenance of the vehicle. If you had a warranty claim that for instance looked like it was for an abused transmission and you had a trailer hitch on your vehicle, you would be at some risk on your claim. If your stereo quit, you wouldn't have a claim problem.
