...for now at least. As some of you may have heard, I will be moving on to another role at TMS. It's been a wonderful 5 years as Prius Product Manager, that I will never forget. Thanks to Danny and all the moderators for allowing us to participate here. The interaction with all of you has been fantastic - certainly trying at times - but always civil and informative. I would expect no less from PriusChat members. At the same time, I am exceptionally pleased to introduce our new Prius Product Manager, the beloved Erica. In my opinion, we made a fantastic choice to elevate her to this position. You, my friends, are in good hands, and so is the Prius brand. I'm sure in due time, she'll introduce you to one or more new Prius Team members. Remember, the family is growing So don't think you can just go crazy on us... we'll still be here. And honestly, I'll still be watching from afar. Remember, I've been lurking on here for 8 years now... and I don't think I can stop the habit. I guess that makes this place kinda addictive. Until next time, a bid you adieu Doug Coleman Toyota Motor Sales, USA
As already mentioned, best of luck to you and Erica! I hope one day you can come back to the Prius brand and I am glad you'll still be lurking around PC!
Doug, best wishes in your other role and many thanks to the Prius Team for all the heads up information.
All the best to you Doug. You and the Prius Team have done an outstanding job of personalizing the connection between TMS and their customers through PriusChat. This customer/member is VERY grateful for that. I am delighted to learn that Erica will be the new Prius Product Manager. The Prius Team will not miss a beat!
A palace coup d'etat! I *knew* that Erica would eventually dispose the King. Long live the Queen! Tom
+1 anyone able to deal with the wacky hijinx of priuschatdom is ready for ANY task! Here's one of my favorite shots - my wife signing permission for Erica to use the Tazer on me as needed. I'm starting to like it! :eyebrows: Take care, Doug.
It was a pleasure having you on the forum and your assistance at the shows. Thank you for everything and good luck in you new position! A big welcome to Erica in her new position! Justin
Congratulations and thanks are due to both of you, Doug and Erica. Thanks. And congratulations. It's good to know you'll still be around to tease.
Wow, when I first saw the title, I was thinking "huh? Say it isn't so..." I thought Prius Team was going to stop participating altogether. It was good meeting both of you and I'm glad to hear the Prius brand is still in good hands. Thanks to both of you for everything you've done!
Thanks all. I'm looking forward to continuing with Prius, though I know I have tremendous shoes to fill! Hopefully I'll be back within the next few weeks to introduce you to a new team member. Best, Erica
Good Luck Doug and Congratulations Erica. I have had some philosophical/approach disagreements in the past and have greatly, greatly respected Doug Colemans willingness to open and be part of a debate. He could of hid behind silence or non-response, but instead defended his ideas and opinions. In the end, maybe he never changed my mind, and I never changed his, but the net result was that more ideas and thoughts got discussed. That's IMO bold and brave communication in an age where most people simply use the internet to reflect back exactly what they want to hear, not discover new ideas. So in temporary departure, I'd say Doug and I have discovered something we both agree on....Prius Chat IS addicting....I sincerely congratulate Erica and wish Doug continued success.
Sorry Tony, I don't think you have the celebrity panache needed to be a Prius Team Member. They're kind of like The Beatles in the 60's. When they make an appearance in Prius Chat- young women swoon, men do their best to imitate them...and large crowds form... I however? I could be their Ringo....I'm pretty good at beating a drum...and my first action would be to put in place safeguards preventing The Prius from being involved in publicity that resulted in it being covered in knitted pieces of yarn.....
before you go, can you please fix the inverter whine problem? it's very....off -putting good luck in your new job
