Just bought a 2010 prius IV. Also have a prius 2005. For some reason the Sat radio and a FM station I allways listen to keeps losing signal? I did not have Sat radio but the regular FM station I never had a problem with. Is the radio strength less in the 2010 vs 2005? Any suggestions?
Many have experience reception issues since the Gen III came out. I have never experienced problems using FM/AM but my satellite radio signal is pretty bad, it cuts out quite often. My self installed Sirius plug and play system in my old 2006 never did it as much as the stock system in my 2010. For 2012 they added an extra antenna in the passenger side rear glass in the 'trunk' for better reception.
Hmm, we just bought a 2011 Corolla with free XM and we also lose signal... I just figure it is because we up here (AK) but maybe the Corolla also has a reception problem.
