Based on the alignment check that I had performed, I have a significant amount of cross camber between the two front wheels. The front camber values are perfectly within specs, but the amount of camber is not desirable. SPC sells their #81290 bolt kit which I have put in an offer for. However, I also heard that Toyota sells a set of OE camber bolts. Is this true? Has anyone else had to use camber bolts in order to fine tune their alignment settings?
I had one of the OEM camber bolts installed on my 2007 to correct the camber on one side. Basically the camber bolt is just a slightly smaller diameter shoulder bolt that allows more adjustment (more play) than the original bolt.
I do use SPC camber bolts but not correct my alignment I just need it to clear my wheels from my fender BR Robert
Toyota has a selection of camber bolts. You select which one based on how much and what direction you want to change your alignment. The SPC method sounds easier
