Crap...I just checked the invoice I got today and noticed that they installed the "old style" pads on there again...not the ones specified by the TSB.

Probably the parts guy who ordered the pads forgot about the TSB this time. This is just really disappointing, because the person ordering the parts should've realized the situation.

    You've gone full circle, LOL.

What was the original issue, noise? On our 2010 I'll occasionally hear a bit of squeak from the rear wheels, I think typically backing up and at start up.

If the back end is raised I can create the noise by turning a wheel by hand. It seems like just a certain speed does it: a little faster or slower and no noise.

Hmm: maybe let them know, and then just wait-and-see for a few days if the noise is back? Pretty frustrating though.

The service manager emailed back and said he ordered the correct pads today and offered to have a valet pick up the car and leave a loaner when they complete the work.

Sometimes you learn more about a person or business when they screw up than when they do everything right.

Even though they are the ones that screwed up multiple times, at least this service manager is trying to make things right.

Yup. Service advisor called today and said the pads were on backorder but should be arriving tomorrow. They still promise to pick up the car from my work and leave a loaner.

At least they appear to be working with you. Some dealers will do whatever they can't to blame you so they don't have to do work for free. I hope it all goes right for you this time. :)
