There are hundreds of tire choices for the 15" Prius tire. Which tire is a good choice for 'All Season Touring' that gets good mpg?
Click the link in my signature for the detailed information you seek. Common choices include: Nokian enTYRE Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Michelin Energy Saver A/S Continental ContiProcontact with EcoPlus Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max Michelin MXV4 Most PC members purchase their tires at: Costco TireRack.com DiscountTires.com Walmart Michelin and Bridgestone always have a $70 rebate offer when purchasing 4 tires. Other brands have sales as well but less frequently. I think Goodyear has an $80 rebate going on right now. Costco alternates the Michelin and Bridgestone rebates every month so if the tire you want is not currently on sale then wait till next month and it will be.
Not sure about the others, but with Costco at least: if there's a manufacturer's rebate, it's deducted at time of puchase (not mail-in), leaving more money in your pocket and reducing sales tax.
My 2011 Prius came with Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max. Very quiet, I like it! Don't know about the traction though. MPG is about 49~50 mostly local and 54 for the highway at 75 mph. My odometer is about 1K only.
