Congrats, Evan! I'm also currently "in school", and while it is occasionally tough, I'm convinced that any continuing education is always worth the time and effort! :thumb:
No way!!! Wild horses couldn't get me to be a moderator here. For one thing, I have little interest in the car anymore, since buying my electric Zap Xebra four years ago. And for another, I'd be a lousy mod. I'd ban so many people Danny would lose too much ad revenue. I hated school when I was young. Then when I was in my middle 40's I decided I wanted to learn Spanish and I enrolled in the university. No pressure from parents, and grades meant absolutely nothing. I just wanted to learn and didn't care what grades I got. It was hard work, and it was fun.
I love school, I love learning from people who know more than I do. But I'm not much for sitting in class rooms either. fortunately this program has only about 9 days of on-campus activity per semester, the rest is online and self-reading/learning stuff.
I know I'm jumping in late, but I wanted to publicly wish Evan well on his new adventure and thank him for everything he's done for PriusChat. Evan has been a great source of advice and friendship over the last 8 years. If I were to count the top reasons PriusChat has been so successful, Evan's involvement would definitely be near the top. He literally has helped me build a career and life for myself and my family. I'm hoping that Evan underestimates his ability to multitask and his need for study breaks Best of luck in your latest adventure, friend.
